Chicago: Day 2

Alas, I did nothing Monday except attend conference sessions and a reception. When I got done for the day it was cold and raining and getting dark, so sightseeing was pretty much out. I thought about seeking out an Irish bar, being that it was St. Patrick’s Day and everything, but I didn’t see that green beer would hold any more appeal for me than the regular kind, so I opted out.

I did at least get a power adapter for my laptop, so I can blog at a nice, leisurely pace.

Tomorrow will probably also be a wash as far as things worth blogging about, but I should have time to do something tourist-y on Wednesday and early Thursday.
