The Year in Pictures - 4/11

I don’t think you’ve been properly introduced. This is Karen. my ‘95 Mercury Cougar.

I’m not a guy who names his possessions (except computers, of course), but after seeing Talladega Nights, I just couldn’t resist.

Karen is the first car I ever bought and paid for on my own. She’s 100% mine, and it will be a sad day indeed when I have to start making car payments again.

Over 130k miles, almost 100k of which are mine, 12 years old, and she still gets 20MPG. Which sounds horrible for anybody who drives a Japanese car, but trust me, for a car that old with a V8, it’s pretty damn good.

I need to paint her bumper again.
