As with any home purchase, even new construction has its up's and down's but you get to choose the colors, carpet, cabinets, etc you want. Make it as custom as you can afford. I enjoyed that option. Plus you don't have to worry so much about the "weird" smell eminating from the carpet, etc... Good Luck. So are you going the “new construction” route?
