    So are you going the “new construction” route? As with any home purchase, even new construction has its up’s and down’s but you get to choose the colors, carpet, cabinets, etc you want. Make it as custom as you can afford. I enjoyed that option. Plus you don’t have to worry so much about the “weird” smell eminating from the carpet, etc… Good Luck.

    Hey, well… just didn’t pan out this time. I’m in a situation where I had to move, and I didn’t feel like I was ready to buy, but I thought I’d give it a try and see if I could afford something. I’ll try again in a year or so.

    As for “new construction,” I’d love to have that option but I just can’t afford it.
