Tickets, please

D’oh!

I missed my deadline. I didn’t take this picture until just after midnight. Alas, I just plain forgot.

You can see what I was up to tonight, at any rate. I’ll be keeping the ticket stub, as I’ve kept just about all my movie ticket stubs since 1993 or so. Basically I’ve kept them from the time I first moved to a town with a theater new enough to print the name of the movie on the ticket. At the time, my hometown theater still used tickets torn from a roll. They probably still would, except now there are no theaters in my hometown.

So yes, I saw Borat at a local second-run theater, hence the cheap ticket price. I don’t know why these theaters aren’t more common. This one does more than enough volume to make up for the cheaper tickets, not to mention that concessions are priced the same as a regular theater.
