SiteSeer revisited: I guess it was a good idea after all

Some of you will recall my post from about a month ago talking about my idea called “SiteSeer.”
Well, I guess great minds think alike, since Google has apparently gone and done it.
They call it the Google Custom Search Engine. It’s a beta, so it’s not all that refined yet, but it essentially does exactly what I suggested.
I guess I’ll give it a spin and see how it works.
