A real page turner

I think this Sony Portable Reader is actually pretty nifty, except that

• eBooks are currently sold at roughly the same price as regular books
• The chances of the books I want actually being available in eBook format are fairly slim
• It costs $350

Aside from that, nifty indeed.

I think the whole eBook concept needs an overhaul, the smallest part of which is the and this gadget is a step in the right direction. It looks like it would be much easier to read than my current Palm device. The support for PDFs and images is nice, too. We actually might be getting one at work, so maybe I’ll at least get to play with one.
