I probably shouldn’t think about this, but it’s too late.
I’ve been using computers for a long time, and supporting them in one capacity or another since late 1993, and I wonder…
Just how much of my life has been spent watching progress bars?
I typically will find other things to do while I am waiting for something to happen. Though I remember in the old days in the lab, when you had to just let it run overnight to render a 3D image or do some video editing. At least now the wait time has been drastically reduced
. Now a days, I’ll think of something i want to write about, or something I still want to read or visit online. Even what the next meal will be.
